Every journey begins with a search. Along the way, we face moments that challenge, shape, and ask us who we want to become. Through every triumph and setback, we slowly discover that home is not simply a place, but the people who walk beside us. HOME is a celebration of that journey. Through a collection of performances by dancers from Legacy Dance Co.’s Open Classes, The Legacy Experience, invited performers and special projects, this production explores the universal experiences of growth, resilience, identity and belonging. Across three chapters (SEARCHING, FACING and HOME) we journey from the innocence of discovering joy, through the challenges and experiences that shape who we become, before arriving at the communities and relationships that give us a sense of belonging. More than a showcase of dance, HOME is an invitation to reflect on our own stories, celebrate how far we have come, and recognise the people who helped us become who we are. Because perhaps home was never simply a place. Perhaps it was the people who walked the journey with us all along.
