Journey to the West | 西游 A Chinese Krump Dance Theatre Experience Inspired by the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West, this work approaches the story as a metaphor not of a physical journey, but an internal one. A process of navigating identity, discipline, ego, and collective responsibility. Through a fusion of Krump, Chinese traditional movement, and live sensor-triggered sound design, the performance explores how inherited mythologies continue to shape contemporary bodies.
