OPEN CALL for Intersections Exchange Dancers An all-style battle, reconfigured. Co-organised by 12.ance Festival & i_entity by ScRach MarcS. Calling for dancers from all kinds of movement backgrounds to gather on the same floor for an evening of exchange, improvisation and a bit of friendly competition. There'll be live musicians, different challenges across the rounds, and plenty of opportunities to try things you might not usually do. We're curious to see what happens when dancers from different practices meet, play, inspire and challenge one another. What happens when the music takes an unexpected turn? What can you pick up from someone else's movement, and what might they pick up from yours? Bring whatever you move with — street, contemporary, jazz, ballet, traditional, experimental, club styles, or your own mix of things. We'd love to have all kinds of dancers in the room. Come ready to play, take a few risks, share some ideas and maybe surprise yourself along the way. Some rounds might push you out of your comfort zone, others might lead to unexpected collaborations. We're looking forward to seeing what everyone brings to the floor. And yes, there will be challenges, surprises and a winner at the end of it all. Register by 5 Dec, 18:00!
